Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be among the first to assist customers, helping them find products and turn ideas into home improvement results. You’ll become the product expert, communicating features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

Based in-store across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, you’ll engage customers, answer questions, and guide them toward complete projects with strong service and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating Lowe's product advantages
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for replacement stock
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and assist in-store communications
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs
• Complete other duties as assigned
