Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist who helps customers find products, answers questions, and closes sales in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

You will become a product expert across departments and assist customers with project needs, promotions, and financing options to ensure a successful purchase. This role involves in-store collaboration and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail (or 3 years external sales if education is not met).
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling visits, and tracking orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
