Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist who greets customers, identifies project needs, and helps them select the right products to bring home improvement ideas to reality. You’ll be a trusted consultant, guiding shoppers through options, promotions, and financing to close sales with care.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Tools, moving throughout the store to assist customers, process orders, and support store operations while delivering outstanding service daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent external experience)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
• Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with/without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe’s will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by helping customers understand their needs and the advantages of Lowe’s products
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling visits, processing and tracking orders
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing/documentation
• Support checkout functions and departmental requests
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development
• Complete other duties as assigned
