Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking friendly Sales Associates to deliver accurate, courteous service on the sales floor in a fast-paced retail setting in Stockton, CA.

You’ll help customers select products, stock and merchandise, operate the POS system, and participate in safe, clean store operations while upholding company values. Available full-time and part-time roles, with opportunities to learn product knowledge and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with basic math skills.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Forklift certification may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about projects, and recommend products.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
• Maintain in-stock condition and keep areas clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Handle refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Adhere to safety processes and company values.
• Answer phone according to guidelines and assist in other areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
