Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Sales Associate to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers select products to complete their projects. The role supports a fast-paced, safe store environment and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining stock, processing transactions at checkout, and upholding company safety and cash handling procedures. Prioritize excellent communication and teamwork to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires passing a drug test

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals
• Process customers at checkout using POS system
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures
• Create price tags and merchandise signs
• Stock, tag and display merchandise
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
