Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures in English (Spanish where required by state).
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 49 pounds and perform cleaning duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas with appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects safely and report safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Follow company policies and procedures and operate janitorial tools when needed.
