Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring full-time Floor Techs in Lubbock, TX. The role involves floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment to support safety and cleanliness across client sites.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a benefits-friendly company culture. KBSPresence is used for attendance and training records, with standard safety protocols and opportunities for growth within a large private company.

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions (English; Spanish where state required).
• Lift and carry objects weighing 15 to 25 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• KBS utilizes KBSPresence for timekeeping and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects and follow safety guidelines.
• Report needed repairs or hazards to Supervisor.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate janitorial tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Cell phone reimbursement for KBSPresence tasks.
