Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Floor Tech to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across designated areas. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with shifts from 7:45am to 4:15pm, and the role involves operating floor care equipment and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include scrubbing and sealing floors, carpet care, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Prior floor care experience is preferred, and applicants must be able to lift up to 49 pounds and follow

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects, follow safety guidelines to prevent injury.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Operate janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies.
