Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring for a Floor Tech to join our team in a fast-paced facility services environment. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour, and duties include floor care tasks, carpet and hard floor maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of floor care experience preferred.
• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
• Read and follow safety rules, manuals, and chemical handling instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning tasks: spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, and grout sealing.
• Clean floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Operate janitorial equipment and chemicals safely.
• Report safety hazards or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
