Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a Floor Supervisor to assist with store operations, customer service, and staff leadership. You will support opening/closing procedures and help ensure the sales floor and stockroom remain organized and safe.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong communication skills. The role pays hourly and offers opportunities within a large US hardware retailer.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and interpret bar graphs.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and help customers solve problems.
• Greet customers and maintain a friendly, professional store presence.
• Oversee store operations in the absence of management and supervise staff.
• Assist with cashiering, pricing changes and label updates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stockroom organization and merchandising.
• Support loss prevention, safety, and internal audits.
