Job summary

Ace Retail Group, a division of Ace Hardware Corporation, is seeking a Floor Supervisor to manage store operations and support the General Manager. You will lead staff to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards and store conditions.

Open/close procedures, inventory coordination, and cashiering oversight are key responsibilities. Flexibility in hours is required to meet business needs and service levels.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and motivate others.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs regularly, and up to 100lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing overall store operations.
• Supervise staff and lead by example.
• Open and close the store procedures.
• Assist with loss prevention, safety, and audits.
• Oversee cashiering functions including training and audits.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
