Job summary

Lush Handmade Cosmetics in Overland Park, Kansas seeks a Floor Leader to drive sales and coach a team on the shop floor. You will lead customer experiences, demonstrate products, and reinforce Lush brand values through community engagement and ethical practices.

You will develop product knowledge, support visual Merchandising, and ensure store standards, cash handling, and scheduling are executed with excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience.
• Experience with cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervisory experience: coaching, feedback and training.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in day-to-day operations.
• Thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty and ethical business.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales on the shop floor using coaching and adjustments to the sales floor.
• Lead a team to deliver world-class customer experiences and product demonstrations.
• Educate customers on Lush brand values and ethical policies.
• Continually deepen product knowledge to make informed recommendations.
• Train and coach Sales Ambassadors in effective selling techniques.
• Promote DEIB, open communication, and collaborative team culture.
• Manage cash handling and store opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor attendance, breaks and shift prep to ensure readiness.
• Maintain clean, organized visuals and product displays.
• Train team on inventory best practices and fresh standards.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and health and safety standards.
