Job summary

Buckle seeks a Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader to support our mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. This role partners with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandise, and daily operations, including cashiering, displays, and housekeeping, while mentoring teammates.

You will lead by example in customer service, training new Teammates, evaluating performance, and promoting Buckle’s policies and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to teammates.
• Lead by example with showmanship and high customer service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Help achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store targets.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Teammates as part of leadership duties.
