Opensity Solutions in Dallas is seeking a Floor Host to greet visitors and support a team of floor hosts, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere and seamless meetings. You will coordinate with meeting organizers, verify room setups, and maintain a professional appearance.

The role requires 2-3 years in hospitality or events, HS diploma, strong MS Office and AV skills, and the ability to stand long hours. Schedule is Mon 9:30-3:30 and Tue-Fri 9:30-6:30; compensation up to 20.80 USD/hour with

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in service industries such as hotel, restaurant, hospitality or event planning.
• Must have strong technical skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, audio/visual equipment).

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors, connect with meeting organizers and guests as meetings begin.
• Prior to meetings, verify room requirements via email to ensure client's expectations are met (lighting, supplies, AV, temperature).
• Continuously perform floor tours and ensure the space is in optimal appearance and condition.
• Utilize tools and resources to identify creative solutions and anticipate customer needs, maintaining first point of contact resolution.
• Keep abreast of all in-house and area functions to answer questions in person, by email, or by phone.
• Advocate for the client's hoteling culture and mobile work by supporting guests needing workspace.
• Verify occupancy of rooms and reclaim unused meeting space as appropriate.
• Optimize meeting rooms and workspaces, ensuring reserved space is used.
• Monitor meeting rooms for arrivals/departures, no-shows, and timing; prep space for operation.
• Work with facility maintenance to keep space pristine and report issues (furniture stains, carpet, lighting).
• Provide a contact card for in-meeting support and reset the room for the next meeting.
