Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Floor Host to deliver a hospitality-based experience on the office floor. You will provide information and direct assistance, connecting guests with the right people and resources and ensuring a seamless meeting flow.

Responsibilities include supporting meetings, verifying room setups, touring floors, and maintaining space appearance. You will advocate a client-first service mindset and coordinate with facilities to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in service industries such as hospitality or events.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and AV equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening, communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to interact with clients at all levels with discretion and tact.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time floor support for meetings and assist organizers and guests.
• Verify room requirements prior to meetings to meet client expectations.
• Conduct floor tours and keep spaces in optimal appearance and condition.
• Use tools to anticipate client needs and provide first point of contact resolution.
• Support guests securing workspace and manage occupancy of rooms.
• Monitor meeting rooms for arrivals, no-shows and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with facility team to report issues and keep spaces pristine.
• Provide a contact card for in-meeting support and reset rooms after events.
