Job summary

elysewalker is seeking a Floor Coordinator to join the store management team in California. You will drive sales growth by leveraging product knowledge, coaching the sales team, and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, managing store routines, and ensuring visual merchandising aligns with brand standards, while fostering a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of client-centric sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Independent work ethic and time management abilities.
  • Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer tasks.

Job description

Position Objective

The Floor Coordinator works within the store management team to help achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability. Through effective management in partnership with the Store Manager, the floor coordinator works to create a store experience for our clients that results in sales growth. As a Floor Coordinator, you will be responsible for continuously improving and developing management skills, taking ownership of the responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager, and acting as a role model to the sales team.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Sales & Client Services
  • Meet personal and store sales and KPI goals.
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the product to support the company's goals.
  • Develop sales techniques that are relevant to the market and the brand.
  • Establish and maintain a client base.
  • Leverage company tools, incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goals.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging KPI’s to support business-driving strategies.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Coach the team on the sales floor, providing relevant and consistent feedback to improve performance.
Operations & Leadership
  • Open and close the store as needed, following daily routines, and make sure that banking is done in a timely manner.
  • Understand and properly execute all management register functions.
  • IT – know “Who to contact.”
  • Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed by the team in accordance with company Policy and Procedures.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit to create a positive work environment.
  • Lead by example in team building while having an empathic approach.
Visuals
  • Uphold all visual merchandising standards set forth by the brand.
  • Reference floor set images within one drive to accurately maintain shop floor displays.
  • Ensure the product in the store is accurately replenished.
  • Actively recover the shop floor and ensure accurate product replenishment in the store.
Required Skills
  • 3-4 years of prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Independent work ethic, time management skills
  • Computer skills to operate the point-of-sale system.
