Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a Float Teller in Williamsport, MD to support branch staff across multiple locations. You will handle cash transactions, balance tills, and assist customers with digital demonstrations and lobby management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.
• Proven verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with internet user-level technology.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards to provide a differentiated experience.
• Educate customers through digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greet customers, and address immediate needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Address escalated account services issues and log complaints.
• Introduce customers to appropriate banking partners for sales opportunities.
• Handle branch-related operational activities (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wires).
• Process customer/account maintenance accurately.
• Complete AML/BSA/KYC-related activities.
• Comply with applicable risk controls and regulatory standards.
