Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in daily operations at our Kansas City properties. The role focuses on resident satisfaction, lease administration, financial reporting, and coordinating vendor contracts to ensure smooth property performance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in property management, proficiency with Yardi Voyager or similar systems, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property, focusing on resident satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent, and balance the rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Process evictions, move-ins/outs, and lease renewals as needed.
• Assist in lease administration, marketing, training staff, and resident relations.
