Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in daily operations at multiple sites. You will ensure resident satisfaction, manage leasing processes, and oversee financial reporting, while coordinating maintenance and supplier contracts.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in property management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A real estate license is preferred in some locations, and experience with Yardi Voyager is

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations.
• Maintain accounts receivable including rent collection and deposits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Process evictions and attend hearings as needed.
• Lease apartments and manage move-ins/move-outs/renewals.
• Inspect buildings and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Audit lease agreements and resident files for accuracy.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
• Support resident relations and handle problem resolution.
• Act in property manager's absence as needed.
