Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team based out of Bay City, Michigan, with a schedule that covers mid-Michigan sites including Lansing, Grand Ledge, Midland, Grand Rapids, and more.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages, travel to multiple sites, and maintain accurate patient records while delivering exceptional service. A valid license and flexible availability are needed for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
