Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team based out of Troy, Michigan. This role covers the Detroit, Grosse Pointe, and St. Clair Shores areas with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, enter data accurately, and support billing and logistics while ensuring compassionate patient service across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year+ phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
