Job summary

Labcorp in Clinton Township, Michigan seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with hours varying 7:00am–7:00pm and rotating Saturdays; travel to Macomb County Detroit area sites.

The role involves blood collection by venipuncture/capillary methods, data entry, and patient service with potential travel to multiple sites. PST incentive plan may apply; Float Incentive: $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 2 years or more phlebotomy in outpatient lab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
