Job summary

LabCorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, is seeking a Float Phlebotomist for Bay City, Michigan. You will cover mid-Michigan locations, performing venipuncture, specimen handling, and data entry while providing excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience; a valid driver’s license and ability to travel are essential. Incentives and comprehensive benefits are available; qualify for PST Incentive and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
