Job summary

Labcorp in Michigan is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our southeastern region. You will perform blood collections for patients of all ages across multiple sites, while delivering compassionate customer service and accurate data entry.

The role offers variety, travel to additional sites, and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required; additional experience with phlebotomy is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred.
• Three months or more experience as a phlebotomist acceptable in lieu of training.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
