Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to provide front desk coverage across multiple practice locations. You will greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, verify demographics, and support referral processing while traveling between sites.

This role requires flexibility, a valid driver's license, and a patient-centered approach to ensure consistent, high‑quality service across the network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different offices, teams, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record.
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures.
