Job summary

SolutionHealth's Patient Service Representatives are the first contact for patients and play a critical role in delivering a positive experience across our network.

The PSR Float covers front-office duties across multiple practice locations, with travel between sites and weekend/holiday rotations as needed. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify demographics, collect payments, and maintain HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Practice locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record.
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures.
