Avenue5 Residential in Austin, TX is seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance operations at the property and ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and all applicable regulations.

This role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general upkeep, reviews work orders, mentors the team, coordinates with the property manager, and strives to deliver exceptional resident service and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Perform carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Daily inspection of property grounds, buildings and amenities for safety and cleanliness.
