Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Austin, TX. You will oversee daily maintenance operations for assigned properties, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and grounds work, and ensure compliance with safety policies and all regulations.

You will manage work orders, mentor the maintenance team, assist with emergencies, coordinate with the property manager, and uphold high curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Daily inspection of property grounds, buildings, and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with management of property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and on-call rotation.
• Mentor maintenance team and promote safety and risk management.
