Job summary

Banner Health Urgent Care -East Valley seeks a Front Office Representative to be the first contact for patients and visitors. You will float between Zone 5 clinics, delivering friendly, efficient check-in and support.

The role includes scheduling, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and gathering patient demographics. You will handle phone calls, document reports, and assist with daily paperwork across Banner Urgent Care sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multitask between high call volume and multiple computer systems.
• Typing speed minimum 30 wpm and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route inbound calls; document messages and direct to appropriate staff.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays as required.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; provide prep instructions for exams or procedures.
• Prepare charts, labels, and forms; support physicians with scheduling and reports.
• Reconcile tickets and assist billing; support front desk operations.
• Escort patients to exam rooms; take vitals and collect patient history as needed.
• Perform daily duties with minimal supervision and resolve minor patient concerns.
