Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in, check-out and scheduling.

You will enter personal and insurance data into the EMR, manage patient flow, assist with billing, and support back-office staff in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and experience in customer service; medical admin certificate is a plus, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate preferred.
• Experience with EMR and patient data entry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from the patient and input into EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and place patients into rooms as needed.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliation, and daily statistics.
• Ensure front office supplies and equipment function properly.
• Answer phone with quality customer service.
• Maintain clean waiting area and reflect a positive image.
• Assist with scheduling via NextCare website.
• Notify clinic back office of urgent medical concerns.
• Educate patients on NextCare services.
• Report safety concerns to the Clinic Manager.
