Job summary

Lakeshore Management Inc. is seeking a motivated Community Manager to lead community operations with a focus on sales, occupancy, and resident experience in New Jersey. The role combines leadership, leasing, and financial oversight to drive performance across multiple communities.

You will manage prospect pipelines, coordinate marketing and renewals, and lead a small team while ensuring maintenance and compliance. Occasional travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in property management, sales, or operations.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with performance metrics and goals.
• Must be flexible, willing to work Saturdays, and available for on-call/after business hour emergencies.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee occupancy, sales and marketing activities including leasing and home sales.
• Manage full prospect lifecycle: lead follow-up, appointments, tours, and closing.
• Drive outreach strategies to generate traffic and improve conversion.
• Oversee lease renewals and resident retention efforts; track pipeline.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Ensure maintenance, safety and compliance with policies and laws.
• Oversee home inventory, installations, and capital projects.
