Job summary

ProHealth is seeking a Floating Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical, occupational health, and administrative support across Florida Panhandle locations. The role requires travel between sites, with duties spanning patient care, EKGs, vaccinations, lab sample handling, and front-desk support.

The position is part-time (not more than 28 hours), with specified hours and potential flexibility to meet patient needs. Strong communication and DOT/OSHA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: MA or Phlebotomy Certification required with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year medical office experience.
• US Citizenship or authorization to work in the US; background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational health testing, including breath alcohol and respirator fit testing.
• Collect and process drug-screen specimens per DOT guidelines.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Conduct in-house clinical procedures (EKG, audiometry, PFT, A1c, UA).
• Record vital signs and administer vaccines with proper documentation.
• Provide front-desk support and assist with patient inquiries and scheduling.
• Enter data and manage patient notes using Practice Fusion and systems.
• Maintain supplies and ensure clinic operations across multiple locations.
