Medical Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine providers in a float role across the department. This position handles data collection, patient prep, and coordination in a fast-paced, multi-location clinic.

You will collaborate with the health care team, maintain accurate records, assist with billing and referrals, and promote patient education. The role requires flexibility, adherence to safety, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Formación

• Three months to one year of related experience.
• Current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required biannually.

Responsabilidades

• Collect patient health data, perform tests, and review records with providers.
• Coordinate appointments and create lab orders; handle co-pays and payments.
• Collaborate with care team and educate patients on care plans.
• Document care, including interventions and education in the medical record.
• Assist with reimbursements, referrals, and insurance requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized office and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Demonstrate flexibility and participate in meetings; take on additional duties.
