Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our Float team in Florida. This role supports clinical and front-desk duties across multiple locations, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

The position requires at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification; travel across sites will be necessary. We offer competitive pay, PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Travel to other locations within the state/region is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; MA certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate to patients per provider instructions.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
