Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a Float position across multiple locations within the state/region. You will support primary care teams by taking vitals, performing phlebotomy where needed, administering medications, and assisting at the front desk when required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience minimum, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and may be required by state.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review prior medical information and collect updated health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests and coordinate specimen handling.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
