Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• 1+ year of experience in the healthcare field.
• Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification.
• Active BLS certification (AHA).
• English language proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient care, take vital signs, and support providers during examinations.
• Prepare exam rooms, organize instruments, and ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Manage medical records in EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Administer medications per orders and assist with vaccines.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals; handle pre-visit planning.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
