Job summary

Marathon Health seeks a versatile Medical Assistant to join our float pool. You will support primary care physicians, perform clinical duties, and serve as a Medical Receptionist across multiple sites.

The role requires travel to various locations within the state/region, flexibility for coverage, and a start date with CPR/BLS certification. A strong candidate will have MA program training and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; perform basic clinical tasks.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Process results and communicate with patients via appropriate channels.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
