Job summary

Pioneer Bank in Albany, NY is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager - Floating to oversee day-to-day office operations under the Branch Manager. You will help develop and maintain retail, commercial and municipal customer relationships while coaching staff to meet service standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus 1 year of assistant manager or sales experience or two years as a Relationship Banker or Trainer; MS Word and Excel are used daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year Assistant Manager or Sales experience or two years as Relationship Banker, Client Service Supervisor or Trainer.
• Ability to demonstrate sales skills and motivate branch staff to cross-sell financial services.
• Proven ability to comply with policies and procedures, to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Notary Public certification within 12 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Actively sells and refers all Pioneer Bank products and services.
• Oversees processing of customer transactions and ensures cash handling compliance.
• Provides coaching and evaluation of staff sales efforts and monitors results.
• Ensures staff compliance with bank policies and procedures.
