Job summary

Harris Teeter in Retail Store Locations is seeking a Floater Pharmacist (Modified Hours) to lead the pharmacy team when on duty, ensure accuracy, handle prescriptions, and maintain compliance.

You will supervise technicians, manage inventory, maintain records, and provide immunizations and medication therapy management. The role requires a licensed pharmacist with PharmD or equivalent, immunization and CPR certifications, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and lead staff as pharmacist-on-duty.
• Handle customer complaints and direct workflow to reduce wait times.
• Fulfill prescriptions with a focus on accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Provide direct patient clinical services including immunizations and MTM.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians when acting as pharmacist-on-duty.
• Monitor inventory, records, security, and equipment per policy.
• Maintain records for legal compliance and company reporting.
