Job summary

Harris Teeter in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Floater Pharmacist (Modified Hours) to provide professional pharmacy services, fill prescriptions, counsel patients and supervise technicians.

You will lead the pharmacy team, ensure compliance with laws, and deliver direct patient care including immunizations and MTM. The role requires a Pharmacist license, PharmD or equivalent, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to understand and solve complex problems

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy department strategy and staff motivation as pharmacist-on-duty.
• Perform all functions of a pharmacist and supervise technicians; direct workflow to reduce wait times.
• Fulfill customer’s prescription needs while maintaining accuracy.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
• Provide direct patient clinical services including immunizations, coaching and MTM.
• Monitor inventory, records, security, and recalls; ensure compliance and reporting.
