Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring a Floator Pharmacist (Modified Hours) to support the pharmacy team in our retail stores. You will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies to maintain high service standards.

You will provide direct clinical services such as immunizations and medication therapy management, while upholding our core values of respect, integrity, and safety across multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Immunization-certified (APhA) and CPR-certified
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to solve complex problems

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions and counsels patients; supervise technicians as pharmacist-on-duty
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Maintains professional image and adheres to company policies
• Handles customer complaints and improves workflow to reduce wait times
• Provides immunizations and medication therapy management
• Maintains records, inventory, and proper procedures for controlled substances
