Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring a Floater Pharmacist (Modified Hours) to support the Pharmacy department across store locations. The role requires a licensed pharmacist, strong patient care, and the ability to work at multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) of the region as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organization.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Numerical and financial aptitude.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to understand and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as pharmacist-on-duty to maximize contribution.
• Handle customer complaints and direct workflow to reduce wait times.
• Fulfill prescriptions with accuracy and ensure legal compliance.
• Supervise technicians and manage stock, inventory, and security.
• Provide direct patient clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.
• Maintain records, training and adherence to corporate procedures.
• Ensure a professional image and compliance with dress standards.
• Comply with all local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean.
