Job summary

Ideal Eye, a multi-location practice, is seeking a Texas-licensed Floater Optometrist to support growing practices across Central Texas, including North San Antonio, Lockhart, Buda, and Kyle. You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, support surgical co-management, diagnose ocular disease, and dispense lenses while delivering personalized eye care.

Qualifications

• Texas-licensed Optometrist with valid licensure to practice in TX.
• 1–3 years of clinical practice; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent business aptitude and commitment to patient service.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Support surgical co-management and diagnose ocular disease.
• Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses as appropriate.
• Respond to eye emergencies and educate patients on vision health.
