Job summary

Ideal Eye in Central Texas is seeking a Texas-licensed Floater Optometrist to support growing practices across Kyle and nearby markets. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, support surgical co-management, diagnose ocular disease, and prescribe glasses and contacts while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• O.D. degree and Texas licensure required.
• 1-3 years of clinical practice experience preferred or new graduate.
• Strong communication and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Support surgical co-management and diagnose ocular disease.
• Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses; respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients on healthy vision using advanced diagnostic tech.
