Ideal Eye, a multi-location practice, seeks a Texas-licensed Floater Optometrist to support growing practices across Central Texas, including North San Antonio, Lockhart, Buda, and Kyle. The role offers variety, collaboration, and meaningful patient care across multiple communities while providing personalized eye care.

The position involves up to 40 hours per week with weekday and occasional Saturday shifts, competitive compensation, and benefits such as tuition reimbursement and health

Qualifications

• OD degree with Texas licensure (TPA cert)
• 1–3 years clinical practice preferred; new grads welcomed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership, organizational skills, and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and co-manage surgical cases.
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease; prescribe and dispense lenses.
• Respond to eye emergencies and educate patients on healthy vision with diagnostic tools.
