Job summary

Job requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience, with ability to travel between branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required with minimum 6 months of customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling.
• Ability to travel between branches on an as-needed basis.
• Proven verbal communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs.
• Educate customers through digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greet customers, and address immediate needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
• Log and resolve customer complaints; transition sales opportunities to appropriate banking partners.
• Perform branch-related operations (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
• Process customer/account maintenance and AML/KYC-related activities.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls and support the M&T Bank brand.
