Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking an Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-week assignment. The Float Pool role may require floating to multiple units; Shift options include Nights and Days. Compensation is $57.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, applying the nursing process, and directing patient/family teaching while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire; maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire; maintain current.
• PALS certification within 30 days when floating to ER/OR/PACU/Day Patient.
• NRP and Basic Fetal monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for employees floating to Women’s Services.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire when floating to Emergency Department.
• BSN preferred.
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Float to two or more units and maintain competency.
• Direct patient and family teaching; guide nursing personnel while maintaining standards.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and ensure privacy.
