Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for the Nursing Float Pool to support 200+ Traveler and Registry RNs and CNAs. You will manage onboarding, system maintenance, and data reporting to ensure compliant staffing and timely requests.

Under the direction of the Float Pool Manager, you will collaborate with HR, Education, and practice managers to optimize resources, track requests, and provide back-up to the central staffing office. Strong BI and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant staffing experience using ANSOS or similar web scheduling program.
• Working knowledge of business intelligence functions and analytics.
• Working knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools. Ability to produce reports and documentation.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-resolution skills.
• Detail oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with professional and technical staff.
• Ability to train staff at a variety of technical skill levels.

Responsibilities

• ANSOS and Webscheduler system maintenance (update and reset, funding and work shift codes, troubleshooting issues with access and data entry).
• Interface maintenance (HealthTime, budget, acuity).
• Onboarding and training staff and unit leaders new to the system.
• Report/Audit - maintenance of regulatory requirements.
