Job summary

UCSD Health is seeking a Nursing Float Pool Coordinator to support 200+ Traveler and Registry RN/CNA staff. You will coordinate scheduling, verify compliance, and collaborate with HR and Education on learning modules.

The role includes data-driven analytics to forecast needs and improve decision-making across the float pool. You will oversee onboarding, system maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring timely responses to resource requests and providing backup to the centralized nursing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years staffing experience using ANSOS or similar scheduling program.
Knowledge of BI functions and analytics.
Experience with internal databases, BI tools, and reporting.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-resolution skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Maintain ANSOS and Webscheduler systems (updates, resets, funding codes, access issues).
Interface maintenance (HealthTime, budget, acuity).
Onboard and train staff and unit leaders new to the system.
Perform report/audit activities to meet regulatory requirements.
