Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking an Internal Registry RN (PRN) for a 12-week assignment in Joliet, IL. The role includes floating to multiple units as needed and delivering direct patient care using the nursing process.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (where applicable), and additional certifications. BSN preferred, with the ability to float between units and uphold patient safety and privacy standards.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days and maintained.
• PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days and maintained (ER/OR/PACU/Day Patient float).
• NRP and Basic Fetal monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for Women’s Services float.
• TNCC within 12 months for Emergency Department float.
• BSN preferred.
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Float RN may be assigned to two or more units and must maintain competency in all units.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel as appropriate.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
